Stacey Solomon HOOVERS her lawn during two hour cleaning frenzy after admitting she feels guilty for being ‘teary and hormonal’ during lockdown

Her fastidious approach to housekeeping has gained more attention than her presenting work over recent weeks, but Stacey Solomon took her passion for cleanliness to the next level on Tuesday.

Taking to Instagram, where her regular updates from home have been a hit with self-quarantined fans, the Loose Women panellist revealed a rather unique method of clearing tree moult from her lawn.

While a stiff broom might ordinarily suffice, Stacey, 30, opted to remove the detritus from a nearby tree with a cordless vacuum cleaner during a mammoth two hour cleaning frenzy.

Sharing an Instagram story with her 3.2 million followers, the presenter filmed herself sweeping the moult into a modest pile before efficiently hoovering it up.

Reflecting on her decision to adopt the unusual method, Stacey admitted she was keen to clear the grass because 11-month old son Rex – the younger of her three children and first with partner Joe Swash – could attempt to swallow it during his trips into the garden.

Captioning the post, she told followers: ‘Rex will actually eat the tree moult like a bag of cheese and onion crisps.’
