Sunrise host Natalie Barr loses it over an Aussie baker’s true-blue response

Sunrise host Natalie Barr loses it over an Aussie baker’s hilarious response to the question: ‘Do you eat a lot of the products you make?’

The Sunrise hosts have interviewed everyone from Hollywood A-listers to everyday Aussies over the years.

But Natalie Barr wasn’t expecting to hear a hilarious response from a Queensland baker who was asked by weatherman Sam Mac on Friday if he enjoyed eating his own products.

The baker, named Mick, left Natalie, 53, and her fill-in co-host Matt Doran, 37, in stitches when he suggested his physique answered the question.

‘He’s a legend’: Sunrise host Natalie Barr (left, with Matt Doran) couldn’t stop laughing after a Queensland baker was asked by weatherman Sam Mac if he enjoyed eating his own products

‘Do you eat a lot of the products you make? Are you a bread and dough enthusiast and do you enjoy the baked goods?’ Sam asked.

‘I do. I mean, seriously, have a look,’ Mick responded, referring to his own frame.

‘Fair enough! What a legend,’ Sam replied, stifling laughter. Natalie agreed back in the Sunrise studio, saying: ‘Isn’t he!’

Natalie has been hosting Seven’s breakfast show alongside David ‘Kochie’ Koch for the past three months.

Sam Armytage was co-anchor of Sunrise from June 2013 until March this year, when she stepped down to spend more time with her family.

Earlier this week, Sam was blasted by Sunrise viewers for firing off a brutal tweet describing Natalie as ‘desperate’ for her job.

Sam, 44, brushed off a question about their rivalry on The Kyle and Jackie O Show Monday, before taking a swipe at Natalie on Twitter hours later.

‘Look, I’m out. Nat’s wanted the job forever… and she’s finally got it. She just needs to get on and enjoy it – and forget about me (even though I’m unforgettable),’ Sam tweeted, adding the hashtag #PeaceOut.

Fans later blasted Sam on social media, accusing her of exhibiting ‘catty’ behaviour with her ‘unnecessary’ post.

Uncalled for: 'Nat's wanted the job forever... and she's finally got it. She just needs to get on and enjoy it - and forget about me,' Sam tweeted, adding the hashtag #PeaceOut
