The property even has an inflatable Santa at the entrance.

But beside them their neighbours’ house is almost bare with only one patch illuminated with light in the shape of an arrow and the word ‘ditto’ pointing at the lit up property.

Families have been swarming the neighbourhood to check out the amusing installation.

‘This has been my favourite Christmas light display so far…’ one woman wrote on Facebook.

‘Hilarious. The poor house who made all that effort was outdone by four letters,’ wrote another.

‘I have put up two reindeer and a sleigh (don’t know that the lights are working anymore). I want a ditto sign!’ Another wrote.
