Tammy Hembrow DELETES Instagram after outraged fans slam the star for using a raunchy braless snap to promote bushfire fundraising efforts

Tammy Hembrow received backlash from fans on Monday when she chose to promote bushfire fundraising efforts with a raunchy bikini snap.

According to Confidential, the 25-year-old temporarily deactivated her account after a slew of negative comments flooded the racy post’s thread.

The social media star apparently disappeared from the platform soon after facing intense criticism for pairing the message with a scantily-clad wet T-shirt image.

Tammy Hembrow allegedly temporarily deleted her Instagram after outraged fans slammed the star for using a raunchy braless snap to promote bushfire fundraising efforts

The original image, which has since been deleted, saw a braless Tammy posing seductively on a luxury yacht in skimpy bikini bottoms and a see-through crop top.

She had used the post to let fans know about her philanthropic efforts for bushfire relief through her Saski collection line.

Tammy captioned the post: ‘Saski Collection 100% profits today are going to emergency relief for the Australian bushfires.’

Saski Collection is Tammy’s successful activewear business, based on the Gold Coast, which she named after her three-year-old daughter, Saskia.

According to the report in Confidential, a number of critical comments appeared to focus on how she was thinking of herself as Australia suffered.

Tammy appeared to delete the photo and reactivate her account with a new photo accompanying the fundraiser message.

However, the original post was screenshotted and archived by several fan accounts before she had a chance to remove it.

Tweak: She later uploaded a more tasteful image of what appeared to be an aerial view of smoke from the bushfires, alongside the text: 'Donating 100 per cent of the profits'

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Tammy’s management for comment.

Despite the criticism, Tammy has wholeheartedly thrown her support behind the bushfire relief efforts.

The mother-of-two used her platform last week to ask her 10 million followers to donate generously to animal and fire rescue organisations.

Alongside photos of animals in peril, she wrote: ‘Our home is burning. These are the worst bush fires on record and they are still burning.
