The short trailer shows Catelynn Lowell on a phone call with Maci Bookout discussing the arrest of their longtime castmate.

Macy asks: ‘Did you see the news?’

Lowell responded that she’d heard and the video cut to a shot of a headline that read: ‘Teen Mom star Amber Portwood arrested for domestic violence.’

The rest of the teaser gave a brief glimpse into the next season, including a big surprise from Catelynn to husband Tyler and some personal drama with Cheyenne Floyd.

Fans, however, will likely tune in to see what really went down between Amber and Andrew, with whom she shares a one-year-old son.

The alleged incident occurred on July 5 just around 2 am in Indianapolis; according to dispatch audio, Amber’s then-boyfriend Andrew, believed their one-year-old son’s life was in danger.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Glennon claimed that Amber got in a heated argument with him, and grabbed a machete and struck the door which Glennon was on the other side of.

While the machete didn’t strike him, Amber reportedly struck her ex with a shoe while he was holding their son.

She denied his claims during a sit-down interview with Dr, Drew Pinsky, which aired during a September Teen Mom OG reunion special, calling his allegations ‘insane.’

Amber had said: ‘I opted out of drug court a long time ago to put myself in prison to help myself. You haven’t hear s**t from me since then. I haven’t got in trouble one time. But all of a sudden, I’m running after my kid and [Andrew] with a machete? You’re insane.’

After her arrest on three felony counts, including domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, a judge granted Glennon a temporary restraining order against her.

In August, the reality star was granted additional visits with their child by a judge, according to Us Weekly.

According to TMZ, Amber is set to take a plea deal in the machete attack case and agree to plead guilty to her domestic battery and intimidation felonies as part of a deal which will see her serve 906 days of probation.

If successfully served, ‘the domestic battery charge will be dismissed and the intimidation charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor’.

Portwood also must take six months of a Batterers’ Intervention Program, and ‘submit to random urine and breath testing’.

Amber has another child, 10 year old Leah, with Gary Shirley, who both starred on the original season of Teen Mom in 2009.
