After a 19-month wait the Masters was back on Thursday and following an initial suspension due to heavy storms, the opening round certainly didn’t disappoint.

The weather delay meant that the first round didn’t get completed on Thursday, with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Co still finishing up at Augusta National.

But for those that were fortunate enough to finish up, they are getting ready for the second round at Augusta as golf’s finest battle it out to make the cut.

Rory McIlroy, looking to seal the major Grand Slam, has got off to a rough start at the Masters

England’s Paul Casey was the stand-out player on Thursday, shooting a brilliant seven under par during his first round.

Meanwhile, reigning champion Tiger Woods also impressed on his return to Augusta, shooting four under par after a blistering start to his Masters campaign.
