A travel blogger has been slammed for being ‘out of touch’ after telling people to just ‘book a flight’ to Thailand amid the cost of living crisis sweeping the globe.
‘What are y’all doing in America?’ Kat Crittenden asked, showing off the tranquil blue waters the country is famous for.
‘This could be five o’clock on a Thursday night for you if you just book a freaking flight,’ she added with a smile.
She then jumped out of the water grinning.

She captioned the video ‘Me again, asking you to travel’ and was quickly smashed by aggressive viewers, many of whom called her spoilt and tone deaf.
‘I don’t have rich parents,’ one person wrote attracting 38,000 likes from other furious TikTokkers.
But the woman gave it back.
‘I have only one parent and she ain’t rich,’ she said.
But that didn’t diffuse the conversation.

‘I have $10 in my account and never been on a plane, I can’t just come to Thailand,’ said another.
‘I am living paycheck to paycheck,’ added one woman.

Other people compared her post to other heartless messaging.
‘If you are homeless just buy a house,’ one snarled.
Some people asked the young woman to ‘buy their ticket’.
This made her confess to only having $2000 to her name, which only made them more furious.
