BREAKING NEWS: Two students and one adult are injured in shooting at Idaho middle school as suspect is taken into custody

At least two students and one adult have been injured in a shooting at an Idaho middle school, where the suspect has been taken into custody. 

An active shooter entered Rigby Middle School Thursday morning sending the site into lockdown and causing teachers and students to flee for their lives. 

There are three confirmed victims with their conditions not known at this time, according to Local News 8.

The suspected shooter has been detained by law enforcement.  

‘Today we had the worst nightmare a school district could encounter. We had a school shooting here at Rigby Middle School,’ Jefferson School District Superintendent Chad Martin told the outlet. 

‘What we know so far is the shooter has been apprehended. There is no further threat to the students.’
