Uber is now offering a luxury new advance service that will allow users to book trips a month ahead at a fixed price.

Users in London, Manchester, Bristol and Bath are now able to book a ‘high-spec’ car up to 30 days in advance.

And drivers will wait for 15 minutes free of charge, in comparison to regular bookings which would wait only five minutes and charge £5.

Fares will be fixed and not subject to increases depending on demand as a regular booking could be.

The trips will come with a reservation fee of £5 and a minimum fare of £25 in London, £20 in Bristol and Bath and £17 in Manchester, with the price shown upfront before booking.

The new feature means that users can now book luxury cars up to 30 days in advance and will enjoy fixed fares

Jamie Heywood, Uber’s Regional General Manager for Northern and Eastern Europe said: ‘As the UK emerges from lockdown, we’re launching more features and products to help make everyday life easier.

‘We have listened to riders who have told us they want the peace of mind of being able to book trips in advance and know that their driver will arrive early and wait for them, which is why we are launching Uber Reserve.’
