Vicky Pattison poses in bra during pre-NTAs tanning session

Vicky Pattison has revealed she is prepping for the National Television Awards with a spray tan.

The reality star, 32, shared an insight into her pre-event prep on Monday night, taking to her Instagram account to post some snaps in her bra.

Wearing a baby blue number with lace panels and silk detailing, the former Geordie Shore star went make-up free during her pampering session.

She captioned the pictures: ‘@officialntas prep is well and truly underway and before I get my obligatory red carpet spray tan I have to undergo the annoying task of trying to get all of my old spray tan off!

‘Lasses, I’m sure you know the pain of those stubborn and hard to remove bits of old tan- for me it’s the bits near your armpits, elbows and neck and over the years I’ve tried all sorts to rid myself of these awkward and annoying clingers on- exfoliating mitts, pumice stones and even washing powder at one desperate point.

‘But gone are those days thanks to @roseandcaramel self tan removal bubble bath! These pics are Before @roseandcaramel tan removal bubble bath and afterrrrrr…. and honestly it just does exactly what it says on the tin!!’ 

Last week, Vicky left a dress fitting at Suzanne Neville Boutique In London‘s Knightsbridge after picking up a dress for the NTAs.

The TV personality wrapped up in an oversized black padded jacket and leggings for the outing.

Vicky carried a pastel blue handbag as well as some shopping from Selfridges. 

The reality star recently completed a gruelling week-long body bootcamp abroad, and showed off her fantastic results on Instagram before flying home.

Vicky shared two pictures – one in a crop top of her svelte figure from the front, along with a more relaxed shot of her letting it ‘hang out’ from the side.

She poked fun of Instagram celebs who use angles, filters and lighting to portray an image which is far from reality in order to ‘feed their egos’, joking: ‘I’ve lost a stone in a day and now I’m a new woman.’

Instead, she gave an honest account of how the week at the luxury health retreat Prestige Boot Camp had left her feeling.

Vicky captioned the image: ‘So I could have easily just posted this first picture and let the “oh you’re making so much progress, looking good Vic” comments just roll in and sit back and love myself off.

‘Feeding my own ego and generally being a bit of a douche. But I wanted this post to be more than that. So this isn’t a “THANKYOU so much, I’ve lost a stone in a day and now I’m a new woman”, post, this is not a transformation pic, there’s no before or after picture here. This is me, as I am right now, in both pictures.’

She continued: ‘These pictures were taken on the same day, maybe hours apart- they show the same person.

‘Only difference is in the first one I’ve picked a great pose (bit wanky but shows the bod well), my leggings are pulled up, the lighting was nice and I filtered it.

‘Now in the second one I’m just kinda letting it all hang out- no filter and no f**ks given. (Oh and my ass looks like a pancake but I’m working on ittttt b****es!!!)

‘What I’m trying to say is DON’T get bogged down in all these unrealistically perfect and gorgeous pictures on Instagram- because for every pretty and posey picture posted like my first one there’s a thousand like the second picture that didn’t make the cut or that they didn’t want to share!
