‘It’s been busy!’ Wayne Rooney shares throwback snap from the start of the decade as a family-of-three with Coleen and Kai… before sharing a shot of their extended clan
Wayne Rooney has joined the legion of stars sharing ‘Decade Challenge’ posts.
The Liverpudlian footballer, 34, posed with his wife Coleen and their firstborn Kai, 10, in a fresh-faced shot, before posting an image from earlier this month showing the threesome joined by their sons Klay, six, Kit, three and Cass, 22 months.
He added a caption on the shot reading: ‘Start of the decade. End of the decade. It’s been a busy one’ – clearly enamoured with the family scenario.

Wayne is clearly proud of his clan, as he posted the sweet snaps from over the years as they grew and expanded as a group – with Coleen beaming alongside.
The decade has been dramatic for the family, as they have been plagued with a series of scandals – including a cheating scandal and the ‘WAGatha Christie’ drama.
In October, Coleen became embroiled in a high-profile drama when she accused fellow-WAG Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories about her to the tabloid press.
Meanwhile, in June of this year, former escort Helen Wood revealed plans to pen a tell-all book about her romp with the footballer.

Helen, who famously enjoyed a threesome with the football ace alongside pal Jenny Thompson in 2009, announced her plans for a tell-all which will feature intimate details of their private moments.
In July 2009, it was revealed Helen and Jenny – who had both moved into escort work to pay off debts – had been paid £1,000 by England footballer Wayne for sex at Manchester’s five-star Lowry Hotel.
Shockingly, Coleen was five months pregnant with the couple’s eldest son Kai at the time. She insists it was Jenny who ran to the tabloids and named Helen, who insists she had little choice but to tell her side of the story.

Helen’s notoriety secured her a place on Celebrity Big Brother and £100,000 when she won the reality show. Rather incongruously, she also appeared on BBC2’s Newsnight to discuss privacy and the media with actor Hugh Grant.
The book explores her life on the tawdry Manchester escort scene, her encounters with celebrities and other clients – and, of course, the threesome with Wayne.
They first met at Manchester’s Living Room nightclub. He invited Helen and Jenny to a party at a nearby casino where they mixed with Rooney’s Manchester United teammates Rio Ferdinand and Cristiano Ronaldo.
