Wild moment two women tackle each other to the ground in a Coles carpark in western Sydney – before friends in hijabs frantically to try and break up the fight

Two women have been captured on camera brawling in an underground carpark after an argument spiralled out of control.

The wild incident unfolded in the Coles carpark at Greenacre, in Sydney’s southwest, as the shoppers were returning to their cars.

One women could be heard screaming at a man holding a trolley, before she lashed out and struck him in the face.

The man’s female companion retaliated and grabbed hold of the woman, before the pair started wrestling each other to the ground.     

Onlookers intervened to break-up the fight, pulling the women apart from each other’s grasp.   

The women are believed to be known to each other but it is not clear what sparked the melee. 

Police have taken statements, Daily Mail Australia was told, and investigations are continuing.
