You fans can’t believe Penn Badgley was in John Tucker Must Die 

You fans have been left baffled after discovering Penn Badgley was ‘the other Tucker’  brother in John Tucker Must Die.

The 33-year-old actor starred as Jesse Metcalfe’s less cool brother in the 2006 romantic comedy, years before becoming a household name.

Penn, who is best known for playing Dan Humphrey in Gossip Girl, has seen his popularity soar thanks to the success of Netflix drama You, but some fans had forgotten he’s always played the underdog heartthrob.

Film lovers have been taking to Twitter in their droves to express their amazement after realising he was the same person.

One said: ‘IM HAVING A CRISIS BECAUSE I JUST REALISED THAT PENN BADGLEY IS THE OTHER TUCKER FROM JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE’.

Another posted: ‘YOURE TELLING ME PENN BADGLEY WAS THE CUTE GUY FROM JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE????? WHAT THE F**K IVE HAD THREE DIFFERENT CRUSHES ON THIS GUY’. 

‘Penn Badgley was in John Tucker Must Die I don’t know how to process’, a third baffled fan wrote.

Others were keen to point out they’d been championing him since the early days of his career.

Penn played aspiring writer Dan Humphreys in 2007 until 2012 Gossip Girl and was also cast as Emma Stone’s love interest in 2010 comedy Easy A.
