Your next lockdown treat: Popular ice cream parlour Cold Rock launches a UNICORN cake as part of its new and VERY affordable dessert range

Australian ice cream parlour chain Cold Rock has unveiled a brand new range of desserts – including a unicorn cake, a classic fan favourite tiramisu and a Biscoff flavoured variety.

With an ice cream cake to match every occasion and a flavour to suit everyone’s tastebuds, the new range varies in price from $49 to $110.

One of the standout desserts is the ‘Tira-Miss-You’ – complete with a Ferraro ice cream, brownie, coffee syrup, double choc ice cream with Tim Tams and Oreos, vanilla sponge cake, topped with Milo and shaved white chocolate.

Perfect for birthday parties, the unicorn ice cream cake features a waffle cone to replicate the horn, complete with pink frosting, rainbow popcorn, and hundreds and  thousands biscuits.

Catering to all palates, the cakes will go on sale from Monday, July 12.

If you prefer a fruitier dessert, the ‘Sweet Heart’ cake is made of the store’s signature ‘sensational strawberry’ ice cream mixed with snap frozen strawberries and strawberry syrup.

On the other end of the flavour spectrum is ‘For the Love of Bis-Coff’ with the store’s famous salted caramel and Aussie vanilla ice cream, Lotus biscuits and topped with Biscoff spread.

Customers have the option to customise the cakes to suit every taste.

For an extra nutty flavour in the ‘All or Nut-Ting’ cake, swap Aussie vanilla ice cream for Ferraro or change it up completely and choose bubblegum.

‘We have many loyal customers who have had Cold Rock ice cream cakes as part of their celebrations for years and we wanted to give these customers more options to suit more occasions,’ Stan Gordon, CEO of Cold Rock management, said.

‘We created the new flavours based on customer feedback and we’re so grateful for their input and ongoing support. We can’t wait to see you celebrating with a delicious original or new cake.’

Along with the brand-new cakes, many of Cold Rock’s classic fan favourites that are known and loved will remain on the menu including the Iced Donut, KitKat Krazed, Cone Explosion and The Rockin’ Race Cars for kids.
