Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane claims he is not thinking about the managerial consequences he will face if his side lose their Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
Zidane has found himself under pressure following a sequence of bad results – including Madrid’s 1-0 loss to at home to Cadiz and their 3-2 Champions League defeat away at Shakhtar Donetsk – and rumours of unrest among his players.
The Frenchman did ease the tension with a 3-1 El Clasico win, but he still recognises the importance of their game against Milan – calling it ‘final’ that the must ‘win’.

When asked whether he was concerned about his future ahead of Madrid’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan on Tuesday, Zidane was coy in his response.
He said: I do not think about that. I think about tomorrow’s game. We are lucky to play a Champions League game tomorrow.
‘The rest is inevitable, but what we can do is prepare well for the game. ‘

Even though Zidane denied he fears for his future as Real Madrid coach, he has highlighted the importance of their must-win Champions League clash.
Madrid are currently sitting bottom of Group B with one point after losing to Shakhtar Donetsk and drawing 2-2 with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Speaking of the task at hand, Zidane said: ‘We know the rival, it is a difficult game because it is a good team, very physical, that plays well too. It is going to be another difficult game for us.

‘It is a final and we are going to take it for what it is. We will try to add the three points.
‘Here every day is a final. ‘We are going to concentrate on what we have to do tomorrow.
‘Outside there is talk that the squad does not have more, that we have to change and those things, but inside I can tell you that they want to compete, play, win.
‘We aspire to everything, always. We always want to show that we are good and that we always want more.’
