Candice Warner dotes on children after booted off SAS Australia

She was booted from SAS Australia during last Tuesday’s episode, alongside former Underbelly actor Firass Dirani.

But Candice Warner perfected her best role yet as a doting mother to daughters Ivy Mae, six, and Indi Rae, four, during an at-home cricket session in Sydney on Sunday.

Proud cricketer husband David Warner shared two adorable videos to Instagram of former Ironwoman Candice, 35, coaching their children who looked eager to learn.

‘Bit of batting practice today for Indi @candywarner1 will make a good coach,’ David captioned one of the videos, alongside the hashtag ‘family’.

Little Indi Rae looked cute as a button as she batted with all her might, after Candice threw the ball into the air.

A second video saw Candice offering encouraging words to Ivy Mae, who ran up and down the makeshift pitch.

‘Now Ivy’s turn, she will be running them two’s hard,’ David, 34, captioned the post.

Candice and David are also proud parents to one-year-old daughter Isla Rose.

The sweet family moments come days after Candice admitted she didn’t expect to be sent home from SAS Australia by the DS (directing staff).

‘I don’t know [why they sent me home] and when I watch it back, it still doesn’t make a lot of sense but it’s their course and I have to respect their decision,’ Candice said on 97.3FM’s Robin, Terry & Bob radio show on Wednesday.

‘They must have seen that I had maybe reached my limit but who knows. At the end of the day I gave it absolutely everything that I had and I left nothing on the course.’

‘So I’m not too disappointed with what I gave,’ she said.

Candice went on to say: ‘I didn’t expect my name to be called out and that’s being completely honest because I didn’t feel like it was my turn yet.’

‘But you never know what they’re looking for. And my best just wasn’t good enough for them,’ she added.

On Tuesday, Candice was seen breaking down in tears to her husband David as she rang him and told him she’d been eliminated from the show.

‘My armband just got taken from me, so I’m out now,’ she told David.

Despite feeling upset about her shock elimination, Candice acknowledged that she was also ready to come home.

‘I think, realistically, today was my limit. It was tough. You would be so surprised at some of the stuff I’ve done,’ she continued.

David reassured Candice that he was ‘really proud’ of her, even though she didn’t make it to the end of the course.

Candice faced a tough few weeks on the show, after being interrogated over her husband’s ball-tampering scandal and then falling out with her former friend Roxy Jacenko, after she punched her during a boxing match.
