Graham Norton ‘sparks fears that he will QUIT the BBC after landing a new comedy role on streaming giant Netflix’

He is one of the BBC‘s biggest stars and loved all over the nation. 

But Graham Norton has reportedly sparked fears that he may be leaving his presenting role on the BBC after being offered a job with Netflix

The legendary interviewer, 56, has won over the nation’s hearts during his past 13 years of presenting and reportedly signed a three-year deal with the BBC in 2017.

But according to reports, he will soon appear in a special on the US streaming service and could be snapped up soon after. 

The insider told The Mirror: ‘Graham already has a profile in the States but Netflix will take him to a whole new level. This is huge for him.’

The source added that Netflix would be desperate to land him for an online chat show on the streaming service which reaches more than 60 million households in the US alone.

A BBC spokesman told The Mirror that Norton had no plans to leave the network, while a BBC representative declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.   

Comedian Michael McIntyre, 44, has recently been offered a similar deal to present an online comedy show for the streaming giant. 

Norton is set to present Netflix Is A Joke Fest, at The Greek Theatre in LA on May 1.

His episode is one in a week-long series which will feature other A-list comedians including Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Amy Schumer.  

The Irish presenter will also lead the LGBTV Standout Celebration show alongside Demi Lovato, Netflix stars Ruby Rose and Wanda Sykes. 

Alongside his regular BBC chat show, Graham will also offer commentary for the Eurovision Song Contest Final in May.
