Paltrow premiered the introductory episode of Goop Your Bar Cart on Goop.com this morning, giving fans an inside look at her taste in both drinks and friends.

Kate Hudson, having been a long-time friend of Paltrow’s, acted as the perfect first guest for the Shakespeare in Love star’s spirit-centered show.

Paltrow took the role as hostess head-on as she effortlessly prepared a serving of marinated olives and artichoke hearts, while playfully grilling Hudson about her new line of vodka.

Kate released her brand King St. Vodka just last month, which the actress toted as being made from GMO-free corn and alkaline water.

Gwyneth, curious about Hudson’s latest endeavor, urged the fellow actress to elaborate on her motivations behind King St. Vodka.

Paltrow took a playful peek at her watch as she poked fun at the fact the duo were about to drink vodka at “eleven in the morning.’

Kate replied hastily with a cheeky, ‘wouldn’t be this first time I had vodka this early.’

The actresses put in some solid teamwork as they prepared the ingredients needed to complete their cocktail and snacks.

Oliver Hudson, Kate’s brother, entered the Goop Your Bar Cart kitchen and was immediately greeted with hugs by both ladies.

With Oliver and Kate Hudson both at her disposal, Gwyneth took the opportunity to ask the pair about what their view ‘of what responsible drinking is.’

‘I’ll tell you what’s NOT responsible drinking…us at Thanksgiving’ Hudson answered while gesturing to herself and her brother.

The trio shared in a laugh over the hilarity of the Hudson’s drunken Thanksgiving antics.

Hudson was quick to follow up with the sentiment that ‘if you’re a health conscious person, you don’t drink everyday.’

Gwyneth, unashamed, admitted she has a glass of wine everyday, something Oliver concurred was ‘healthy.’

King St. Vodka came back into play as the trio began working on the highly anticipated espresso martini.

Kate took the reigns on this kitchen task, as she mixed her brand of vodka, coffee liqueur, and a pinch of salt to bring the delectable drink to life.

Once the drink was complete, Hudson served the cocktail to her brother and bestie and they marveled at the deliciousness.

To tie everything together, Paltrow decided to ‘Goop’ Hudson’s creation, which required Paltrow to put her own twist on the espresso martini.

Gwyneth utilized a shot of vodka, espresso, cacao powder, a pinch of salt, and macadamia nut milk in her version.
