Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness wear masks as they walk their dogs in New York City

Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness stepped out for a walk in New York City on Tuesday. 

The pair put safety first as they wore face masks while strolling with their dogs, Dali and Allegra. 

Wolverine actor Hugh, 51, and his actress wife, 64, were both dressed casually for the walk and chatted happily during the outing. 

Hugh opted for a pale surgical mask, wore with a blue t-shirt and a grey sweatshirt over the top. 

He added a pair of grey track pants to the ensemble, and black sneakers worn without socks. 

The star had on a black baseball cap with an emblem on the front, and had his glasses tucked into the neckline of his top. 

Deborra-Lee wore a black hoodie with a white graphic design, and a pair of dark workout tights. 

She added a black and white face mask to her ensemble, and had on a pair of red sneakers. 

Her blonde hair was up in a loose ponytail, with curls around her face, and appeared to be makeup free.      

Hugh recently returned from a a family holiday in the Hamptons with his wife and their two children. 

In July, The Greatest Showman actor revealed he was homesick for Australia after a lengthy lockdown in New York City due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Deborra-Lee and the couple’s children had initially been in Melbourne when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic in March.

But they returned to the U.S. just four days later in order to keep the family together.
