Isla Fisher and Jillian Bell bundle up on set as they start filming Godmothered in Boston

Isla Fisher and Jillian Bell got bundled up to shelter themselves from the chilly Boston elements on the set of their new movie Godmothered.

Fisher, 43, and Bell, 35, were spotted on the set in Boston on Monday, the first day of production on the Disney Plus movie.

Both Fisher and Bell’s casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter on January 9, with Sharon McGuire (Bridget Jones’ Diary) directing.

Fisher was wearing a long emerald green wool trench coat with a blue-green scarf around her neck.

She wore long black boots as she was seen walking through the set, with a black purse with a gold chain dangling from her shoulder. 

She was seen carrying a number of different bags as she walked through a Christmas tree lot.

Bell was wearing a pink stocking hat and a red, black and white flannel coat while she was seen waving a wand.

She was also seen wearing a flowing pink dress with black boots seen under her dress as she was on the set. 

She completed her look with a pair of pink gloves on the Boston set. 

Godmothered follows a young and unskilled godmother (Bell) who branches out on her own to find a girl whose request for help was ignored.

Fisher plays the girl who is now a grown woman who is seeking something much different than ‘Prince Charming.’

Sharon McGuire is directing from a script by Kari Granlund (Lady and the Tramp) and Melissa Stack (The Other Woman).

Bell is coming off movies such as Brittany Runs a Marathon and Sword of Trust in 2019, plus voice roles in Bless the Hearts, Supermansion and Human Discoveries.

Fisher starred in The Beach Bum and Greed, and she’ll next be seen in Blithe Spirit with Leslie Mann, Dan Stevens and Judi Dench.

Bell will next be seen in Bill and Ted Face the Music and El Tonto later this year.
