Jimmy Fallon enlists the help of Andrew Rannells to recap the year with 2020: The Musical

As the year that was 2020 winds down, Jimmy Fallon is commemorating the year that was through song. 

The 46-year-old host of The Tonight Show teamed up with Broadway star Andrew Rannells, to recap the year, set to several classic Broadway tunes.

Fallon began his performance by recapping January, set to West Side Story’s America, touching on events like President Trump‘s impeachment, Prince Harry coming to America.

They then start singing about the ‘plans’ they had for the year like seeing concerts, running a 5K and drinking less booze, before the COVID-19 pandemic kicked in.
