Karl Stefanovic scolded one of his own stablemates during an interview on the Today show on Thursday.
The Channel 9 TV host told off Married At First Sight star Hayley Vernon for seemingly admitting she has already split with husband, David Cannon.
Karl and co-host Allison Langdon were discussing the finance broker’s wedding with the truck driver, 31, when the 32-year-old bodybuilder appeared to spoil their ending.

Towards the end of their chat, Karl praised the brunette beauty for being a really interesting personality on the show, saying: ‘I hope you find love if it doesn’t work out with this silly fella from the country.’
‘Thank you very much, yeah,’ Hayley agreed, appearing to hint she did indeed fail to find love with David.
Allison quickly stepped in to cover up the possible slip up, saying: ‘We don’t know yet! We don’t know that yet’, as Karl and Hayley laughed at the on-air gaffe.
Karl joked: ‘I tell you what, Channel Nine publicity are very angry with you right now.’
‘I think that they angrier with you,’ Allison interjected.

‘No, no. They were angry with last year and the year before, and the year before and the year before. But this year I’m clean,’ he said, alluding to his 2018 axing from Today.
Elsewhere in the chat, Haley also hinted that her chemistry with her ‘husband’ failed to spark, when Karl asked: ‘Do you like him?’
‘I did like him,’ Hayley said, as Karl clarified her use of the past tense ‘did’ in her response.
