Manchester United welcome strugglers Sheffield United to Old Trafford on Wednesday night, looking to ensure Manchester City’s stay at the Premier League summit is short-lived.
Pep Guardiola’s moved top for the first time this season following an emphatic 5-0 win at West Brom on Tuesday but the Red Devils will leapfrog them with victory over the Blades. Chris Wilder’s side have picked up just one win this season and are in desperate need of points.
Elsewhere Leicester visit Everton as third meets seventh with just six points separating the two. A Toffees win would see them move above Merseyside rivals Liverpool for 24 hours at least.
