Married At First Sight: Experts are caught in an embarrassing blunder

Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Experts are caught in an embarrassing blunder as a former applicant says his audition photo is still being used three years after he tried to get on the show

More than 10,000 would-be brides and grooms apply to appear on Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight every year.

But it appears the show’s relationship experts, John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling, have been caught in a rather embarrassing mishap concerning the successful applicants.

Former applicant Scot Fuller, who starred in Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette in 2019, noticed his photos have appeared on the show several times – and as recently as this year – despite the fact he applied three years ago.

Did you spot it? Scot Fuller, a former applicant, who previously failed to find love on Angie Kent’s has revealed his concerns after learning his photo appeared on the show several times

'I applied to both as s**s and giggles back in like 2018/2019, definitely not for this season,' he told Daily Mail Australia on Monday

‘I applied to both [MAFS and The Bachelorette] for s**ts and giggles back in 2018, but definitely not for this season,’ Scot told Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

‘It’s been two seasons. I don’t get why they still have my photo,’ he said.

‘I won’t ever do another “love” reality tv show,’ Scot added.

Scot’s photo was briefly shown alongside Russell Duance, who is paired with Beth Moore on this year’s season of MAFS, during an episode that aired last month.

His image also appeared momentarily in several other episodes in which the experts selected suitable grooms for the female participants.

Scot said he was confused why his photo kept appearing on screen, joking: ‘They must have need some content with a good-looking bloke!’

'Am I tripping?' On Monday, former Bachelor In Paradise star Jessica Brody shared footage of herself watching Married At First Sight the night before. Uploading the video to her Instagram, she appeared baffled when she noticed a man's photograph that resembled her co-star

Former Bachelor star Jessica Brody noticed Scot’s brief cameo on Married At First Sight while watching the show last week.

‘Hang on. I’m watching last night’s episode of MAFS. Wasn’t that guy on my season of Bachelor in Paradise?’ she asked her Instagram followers.

‘Isn’t that Scot? Like am I f**king losing my mind?’ she added.

Despite his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance on MAFS, it appears Scot has found love outside of reality TV with a mystery blonde he was pictured with in December.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

Fairytale ending? If his Instagram is anything to go by, it appears Scot has since found love outside of reality television, cosying up to a mystery blonde in December
