Married At First Sight‘s Stacey Hampton raged at Hayley Vernon at this week’s dinner party, finally unleashing after she ‘cheated’ with her ‘husband’ Michael Goonan.
However, Daily Mail Australia has since obtained pictures of the women taken before they filmed their fight, suggesting the big showdown was faked for the cameras.
On October 8, the pair were pictured hanging out outside of the casts’ apartment building in Sydney, a day after Hayley and Michael’s kiss was first exposed on set.

In Daily Mail Australia’s exclusive pictures, Stacey and Hayley looked to be the best of friends, despite the infidelity with Michael being out in the open at the time.
Hayley and Stacey enjoyed a stroll together and then returned to their Skye Suites apartment complex, ahead of filming their showdown an entire week later.
A day before this, on October 7, Stacey was pictured confronting Hayley outside of their building upon first learning of the kiss, but this wasn’t filmed for TV.
It wasn’t until October 14 when they then filmed the dinner party, when Stacey waged war at Hayley with the cameras rolling, despite their apparent truce.

Stacey also confronted Michael on October 7, but again, none of this was filmed.
The entire scandal erupted – and was then resolved – during an 11 day break from production, with fights then appearing to have been staged for the cameras.
Producers would likely have encouraged the cast to revisit the scandal, while ensuring emotions were heightened so they got great footage.

During Wednesday’s dinner party, Stacey screamed at Hayley over her kiss with Michael, as if it was the first time they’d spoken about it.
‘You’ve just ruined a relationship. Yes, he’s a dick head at parties… but you’ve taken advantage of that,’ accused Stacey, while failing to blame Michael.
‘You were encouraging vulnerable Michael. We all know he gets drunk.’

Before the fight, Stacey warned: ‘She is an absolute scum bag. She does not know what’s coming for her. I’m about to turn a f**king steam train on to her.’
Hayley broke down in tears, sobbing: ‘I’m kind of perplexed. Stacey’s reaction was to just pin it all on me, than to accept what her husband did.
‘I got emotional because I think it’s the straw that broke the camel’s back.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.
