Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon slams the experts for doing a ‘s**t job’

Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon slams the experts for doing a ‘s**t job’ and have no ‘moral integrity’ for matching her with David Cannon

Hayley Vernon has sensationally lashed out at Married At First Sight‘s experts, claiming they did a ‘s**t job’ by pairing her with David Cannon.

Speaking to Lise, Sarah, Dan & Ben on Thursday, the fiery bodybuilder didn’t mince words when describing counsellor John Aiken, dating expert Mel Schilling and psychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford, declaring: ‘They do a s**t job don’t they?’

Hayley explained: ‘A big part of me wanted to believe in the experiment and that they were going to find me my equal person.’

‘But the same part also thought, ‘They’re going to match me with an introvert, or they’re going to match me with someone just as explosive.”

She went on to confirm the truth of reality television- that couples are often matched for the sake of creating drama, rather than lasting relationships.

‘This is a TV show and they’ve got to make great TV. But one would hope there’d be some ethical… they’d have some integrity behind them.’

Hayley then confirmed that she and David are no longer together.

Meanwhile, on MAFS, the couple have been at odds after Hayley shamed David for his $25-an-hour wage.

As a result of the blow-up, David chose to arrive at Wednesday night’s dinner party without his wife- or his wedding ring.

The couple kept their distance during the party, but after a chat with some of the other participants, Hayley decided that she wanted to give David another chance.

The brunette bodybuilder then took David to a private area to try and make amends after their honeymoon from hell.

However, David appeared extremely reluctant as Hayley repeatedly tried to kiss him.

At one stage, Hayley even scratched David’s face as she pulled his head down towards her body.

Married At First Sight continues Thursday at 7.30pm on Nine.
