President Joe Biden plans to accompany First Lady Jill Biden to an appointment for a ‘common medical procedure’ on Wednesday.

The White House did not provide additional details about her procedure but the Bidens will return afterward to ‘resume their normal schedule.’

President Biden is expected to speak later on Wednesday about his plan to withdraw United States troops from Afghanistan by September 11 before then visiting Arlington National Cemetery, according to the Associated Press.

Biden injured his foot in November while playing with his dog, Major, and suffered a hairline fracture to his right foot. He briefly wore a boot but was cleared by his physician on February 6, ABC News reported.
