Ali Ashouri of Shahs Of Sunset fame filed a request for a restraining order against his costar Reza Farahan on Thursday, according to The Blast.
It’s unclear why he’s seeking the order, but Ali and Reza have a contentious history on the Bravo reality TV show.
Ashouri previously accused Reza’s husband of sexually harassing him via text message, which led to an explosive on-camera confrontation.

Ali cited the restraining order request as a preventative measure in his filing, though an exact reason for the filing has not been disclosed.
The two came into conflict on season eight of Shahs Of Sunset, broadcast beginning in February.
Ali, who is technically a friend of the show, told his co-star Destiney Rose that he had received sexually explicit text messages from Reza’s husband, Adam Neely.
Destiney passed on the gossip to Reza during his housewarming party, and the real estate agent became convinced that his frenemy Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid had orchestrated the rumors.

Destiney later apologized for passing on Ali’s claims.
‘I’m uncomfortable, I will say that,’ she told TooFab in March. ‘The reality is, I had to say what I needed to say. I do regret certain things, absolutely. I’m human. I make mistakes. Crucify me, I’ll take it.
‘There’s so many layers to this and it’s hard for me to kind of figure everything out … but what sucks is how it all happened. There’s ways to communicate, there’s ways to handle certain situations, but we don’t have a pamphlet on how to go through certain situations,’ she said.
Ali told TooFab he was ‘disappointed’ in Destiney’s response, calling her a ‘scared and weak person’ who would do whatever it took to save ‘her relationship with Reza.’
Destiney seems to be done with her former friend after opening up about the situation to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
‘When obviously things don’t go someone’s way, they’re gonna say a lot of things that is out of their booty hole,’ she said.

In a February episode of Shahs Of Sunset, Reza invited Ali and Destiney to lunch to confront them about the harassment allegations.
Ali claimed to have mentioned the messages after MJ said that Reza and Adam weren’t happy in their marriage.
‘Adam has, when we were friends, he would send me really inappropriate text messages all the time, like every day, a couple times a day. It was to the point of me being sexually harassed. He’s done it to other people, too,’ he continued.

After Ali suggested that Adam was ‘cruising at the gym,’ Reza through a glass of water on Ali before storming out.
