Shanina Shaik enjoyed a patriotic Christmas this year.
The 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret model flew home to Melbourne for the holidays, where she celebrated with an Australiana-themed Christmas.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the stunning star detailed her family’s festivities, showing off their bush-themed enclosed patio area.

‘I loved the Australiana theme for our Xmas lunch. I helped with setting up the table,’ she captioned a photo of the stunning entertainment area.
A long wooden table had been decorated with gum leaves, Australian flags and miniature toy koalas, which doubled as place cards.
‘Look at the KOALA name tags. Mum’s idea!!’ Shanina captioned a photo of her place card, adding a series of love heart and lightbulb emojis.

Revealing her input, Shanina said she also folded the napkins and ‘made the salmon’, sharing photos of both.
She also ‘made a macadamian nut and herb paste’ for the salmon, showing off the finished smooth texture before loading it into the oven.
Also on offer were oysters and prawns, which she described as ‘a staple for an Aussie Xmas’.

The food was later artfully laid out on plates for serving, with Shanina revealing another favourite was her mum Kim’s trifle.
‘We must have it every year!!!’ she wrote, including a close-up photo of the dessert topped with cream, strawberries, raspberries and flakes of chocolate.
Clearly enjoying herself, Shanina also shared a short video of herself toasting the camera with a fruit punch.

But her celebrations were cut short, with the stunning star revealing she boarded an early morning flight to Dubai on Boxing Day.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Shanina shared a video of herself snoozing at the airport at 4.56am.

It was Shanina’s first Christmas after announcing her split from her husband of one year, DJ Ruckus, 35, in June.
