After leaving state media in 2016, she is currently an executive of Beijing Performance and Arts Group.

Despite fronting various popular productions over the years, fashionable Ms Zhou still looks like a woman in her 20s.

She sent the Chinese social media into a frenzy this week after being featured in a short video posted on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent to Twitter.

The post has attracted waves of comments from people who were impressed by Ms Zhou’s age-defying appearance and positive attitude.

One commenter on Weibo known as ‘Du Mingjun’ billed Ms Zhou as ‘the goddess with a frozen age’ and described as ‘elegant’.

Another Weibo user, ‘Move-Jackson’, praised: ‘[She] looks so young!’

This is not the first time presenters at CCTV have been hailed for looking youthful.
