While new hunk Ched Uzor was chatting to the camera in the Beach Hut, the aston supposed to display his name read ‘Chied’ rather than Ched.
Fans were beside themselves over this – perhaps exaggerated by the anticipation they were feeling about the impending recoupling.

Another could hardly believe what they were seeing, typing: ‘Did they really just spell Ched like Chied?!?!’
Followed by a fourth: ‘Welcome the newest addition to the love island villa this year… Chied! Right someone’s getting fired.’

During her speech for Ched, the blonde ensured she made a thinly-veiled dig at her former love interest as she said she’s ‘never had to doubt’ Ched during their short time together.

‘Ever since this boy has come into the villa, he’s shown interest in one girl and one girl only, he’s been honest and straight-up, I feel like I can trust him.
‘I never need to question whether he’s genuine, whereas I have in previous situations here. When we’re together, there’s a connection, he’s funny and I can see us working in here.’
