Love Island’s Sophie Piper and Connor Durman spend the night together

She recently revealed that they are still in the early stages of getting to know each other and insisted they are definitely not in a relationship yet.

And Love Island‘s Sophie Piper and her love interest Connor Durman finally spent a night together on Wednesday evening after being booted out of the villa.

The model, 21, and the coffee bean salesman, 25, shared snippets of their evening together on Instagram as they caught up on Love Island and ordered Nandos. 

Connor updated his followers with clips of Sophie lounging on the bed taking selfies and eating her Nandos while watching the show.

The Brighton native appeared every inch the gentleman as he went to pick their dinner up in a taxi, as he shared a video of himself returning with their food.

The Island pairing first reunited during Monday’s episode of Aftersun, where he got the seal of approval from her sisters Rochelle, 31, and Lili.  

Sophie was flown back to London from South Africa last week, after having being dumped from the villa.

Connor, who was coupled up with Sophie after taking her back from Connagh Howard, had been booted off the show a week prior.

During a radio interview on Capital XTRA alongside fellow evictee Leanne Amaning, Sophie was sure to clear up the relationship status.

‘No we are not together at all!’ Sophie declared. ‘We are just seeing each other! It’s a situation-ship. I will get to know him, go on dates with him.’

She added: ‘He’s met both of my sisters at Aftersun the other day. I’ve met his sister. They think he’s lovely. They approve.’

One of Sophie’s sisters is presenter Rochelle – although this was not referenced onscreen during her time in the villa. Sophie also has an identical twin sister called Lili. 

Rochelle had remained tight-lipped about her younger sibling’s onscreen romance throughout her stint on the show. 

Sophie and Conner couldn’t contain their delight at seeing each other again and giggled their way through the interview with show host Laura Whitmore, 34, on Monday’s Aftersun.

Despite the palpable air of amour, Sophie told The Sun that after the show the pair slept in different hotel rooms and are still waiting to enjoy their first date.

‘Obviously we’ve both been so busy, but he’s coming back down to London tomorrow so hopefully I’ll see him again then,’ she said.

Rochelle was reunited with Sophie and twin Lili at a Christmas party two years ago following two decades of estrangement after father Mark Piper walked out of the family home when she was three years old and never returned.

In a twist of fate, Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, a close friend of Sophie’s, helped bring the siblings together at the festive bash after a chance meeting with Rochelle at an industry party.

Clearly a protective big sister, Rochelle has avoided getting embroiled in the online commentary about Sophie’s island experience, but made sure to meet her new beau as soon as possible.

Sophie has had her fair share of drama during her South African stay, most notably fending off the advances of Mike Boateng, 24, after love rival Connor was booted off the island.
