Neighbours April Rose Pengilly, 31, flaunts her sensational figure at Sydney beach

April Rose Pengilly famously quit modelling to focus on her acting career. 

But on Saturday, the 31-year-old Neighbours proved she’s still catwalk ready while going for a dip at the beach in Sydney.

Spotted at Chinamans Beach in Mosman, the small screen siren dazzled in a woven bikini as she enjoyed a refreshing swim in the harbour. 

Amid the city’s soaring temperatures, April was only too happy to cool off. 

The statuesque beauty put her slender figure on display, including her washboard abs and toned arms.

At one point, the actress battled a gust of wind that suddenly swept her chestnut tresses into her face.

Elsewhere, she was seen walking back to her towel while seeking the shade in the wooded area of the secluded beach.  

April continues to go from strength-to-strength on Neighbours, with her character Chloe Brennan recently tying the knot with co-star Tim Robards.  

Speaking to BW magazine in 2018, she said that she found it hard to get her foot in the acting door initially because of her modelling CV.  

‘It was really tough giving it up because that’s what I got my start in,’ she told the publication.

April continued: ‘I thought I could do both but I had trouble, my agent couldn’t even get me in the room because a lot of casting directors were saying, ‘Oh no, she’s not a real actor, she’s a model’.’ 

The daughter of INXS rocker Kirk Pengilly plays Chloe Brennan in the long-running soap, and revealed that she landed the role just months before a move to the US.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, she said:’I think it’s a goal for most Aussie actors to be on one of these iconic Aussie shows that is beloved worldwide, but I’d kind of given up on it. My goal was America.’
