Just weeks after taking his beloved rescue dog Kuma on a trip to Tequila, Mexico, Justin Theroux has showed his pooch the ocean for the first time.
The 49-year-old actor, who rescued Kuma from Hurricane Harvey back in 2018, took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to recount the trip.
The actor teased that Tuesday was a ‘big day’ for the adopted pit bull, though he had no idea he was going to see the ocean for the first time.

He then shared another snap of the actor – rocking a sleeveless black t-shirt, sunglasses, a white stocking cap, blue jeans and brown boots – sitting on a table with his dog, revealing, ‘We’re going on a road trip. Still has no idea.’
The Leftovers star then shared a close-up snap of Kuma in the car with his tongue out, adding he was, ‘Suspicious. But excited.’

He then shared the big news, captioned to a video of the man and his best friend cruising along with the window open, stating, ‘Kuma has never seen the ocean. Ever. Shhhh!’
Apparently the car ride was a bit too long for Kuma, since the next video showed him resting his head on Theroux’s knee, looking rather bored.
